The gap we fill
Group programming is essential. Some residents still need a person who comes just for them.
Popovers gives your team a simple one-to-one option without building another staff schedule. It is companionship, not care: consistent social time shaped around the resident’s interests.
01
Choose the residents
Your team identifies a small pilot group and confirms consent.
02
Set the guardrails
We confirm visit times, site rules, handoff, and escalation contacts.
03
Run and review
We coordinate 10 visits, then review participation and next steps at day 30.
What a visit can be
An hour built around the resident, not a checklist.
- Conversation and genuine social connection
- Cards, puzzles, reading, music, or photo albums
- Walks and shared activities within facility guidelines
- A familiar companion requested again when available

Boundaries built in
Clear scope for residents, families, and staff.
Before any facility visit, Popovers and the community document responsibilities, site rules, consent, safety contacts, and what information is actually necessary.

- Interview and reference checks
- Clear nonmedical scope and facility-specific guidelines
- A designated facility contact and resident or family consent
- No medication, transfers, personal care, financial tasks, or clinical work
Common questions
Is this home care or clinical care?
No. Popovers provides nonmedical companionship. Companions do not perform personal care, medication tasks, transfers, clinical services, or unsupervised transportation.
Who is the pilot for?
It is designed for residents who would benefit from more individual social time — including people who rarely join group activities or whose families live farther away.
How does the facility participate?
Your team designates one point of contact, identifies appropriate residents, secures the needed resident or family consent, and shares site logistics. We coordinate companions and visit requests.
What information do you need?
The inquiry stage requires only business and facility details. Please do not send resident names or health information. Before launch, we agree on a minimum-necessary, consent-based process for operating details.

Let’s see if the pilot fits your community.
