Why we started it
Two parents. Two aging parents. One feeling we couldn’t shake.
We’re both parents ourselves, with jobs, kids, and weeknights that vanish before we know it. We’re also watching our own parents get older. Quieter weeks. Longer afternoons. The slow shift when phone calls get shorter because there’s less to report.
We hated that we couldn’t be there more, especially for the keeping-them-company moments, not just the helping-with-things moments. So we built Popovers so someone warm, someone we’d want at our own parents’ kitchen table, could pop over when we couldn’t.
That’s the whole thing. An hour of real company, on the days we can’t deliver it ourselves.
